Location:

Brunswick, GA

Completion:

- in design phase

Jericho Design Group was selected by the Glynn County Board of Commissioners to provide full architectural and engineering design services for a new Fire Station and Public Safety Multi-use Facility, closely aligning with the scope of the City of South Fulton’s Fire Station #10 project. This $6.6 million initiative, totaling 10,500 square feet, includes a Fire Station and Emergency Operations Center designed to enhance emergency response, inter-agency coordination, and operational resiliency—core goals shared with South Fulton’s new facility. Delivered under the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method, Jericho’s services include programming, schematic design, multiple layout options, full construction documents, and construction administration. The project also includes FF&E coordination, low-voltage systems design, and full site planning to ensure long-term functionality and integration with surrounding civic uses. Our experience managing complex public safety design programs with multiple stakeholders directly supports our approach for South Fulton, where operational flexibility and coordination will remain a top priority.

Turner Construction worked with Doug Shaw on several projects including the Barrow County Courthouse/Jail and the Rockdale County Jail. He displayed leadership in solving complex issues and remained focused on the best client solutions. Their designs helped the construction team be more efficient and cost effective and he was able to help in solving any technical issues. We appreciate his “team” approach and would highly recommend him to others.

Jericho Design Group did an excellent job designing Mercer University’s Rural Primary Care Clinic on Jekyll Island. We worked closely with Whitey Regan and her team of interior designers. They spent time talking with us to understand our staff and patient interactions, so the layout they developed was extremely efficient. The fact that they also incorporated thoughtful color accents and subtle finishes that highlighted the Mercer University brand was just above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend Jericho Design Group for similar healthcare projects.

In building the Cornelia City Hall and Fire Station, the experiences we had with Jericho Design Group were very positive. They were extremely capable, responsive, and responsible. From the pre-construction meeting for these two separate ground- up municipal buildings through completion of the closeouts, it was always a pleasure working with Jericho Design Group.
