Jekyll Island Public Safety Facility

Location:

Jekyll Island, GA

Completion:

2020 - 2024

Jericho Design Group partnered with Jekyll Island Authority to design a new 19,800 square foot Public Safety Campus. It will replace two existing structures, one that was built in the 60s and the other, converted more than 30 years ago from a package store. The new building is a joint use facility to house the Fire Department/EMS, Georgia State Patrol Post 35, and an Emergency Operations Center to complement the main EOC in Glynn County. Facility support spaces include sleeping quarters, an apparatus parking/bay area, kitchen, offices, storage, mechanical and electrical rooms, common entry/lobby, and classroom.
