Rockdale County Courthouse & Admin Building

Location:

Conyers, GA

Completion:

2023 - 2027

Jericho Design Group is partnering with Rockdale County on the design and construction of a new Judicial Administrative Campus. The campus includes a 105,000 SF courthouse featuring multiple courtrooms, judges’ chambers, clerk offices, court support spaces, and secure holding areas—all configured to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and accessibility. An adjacent 75,000 SF administrative building will consolidate key departments and administrative functions, streamlining interdepartmental coordination and improving service delivery to the public. A new 400-space parking deck addresses longstanding site constraints, while 60,000 SF of existing court facilities will be renovated to meet modern standards for security, technology, and user comfort. The project also includes comprehensive site improvements to enhance circulation, pedestrian safety, and overall campus aesthetics, along with the phased demolition of the outdated administrative building. Nelson serves as Architect of Record for the Administration Building, contributing to a cohesive and integrated campus design.
