Sandy Springs Fire Stations #2 + #5

Location:

Sandy Springs, GA

Completion:

June 2022

Jericho collaborated with our clients at the Sandy Springs fire stations 1 and 2 to provide exceptional interior design services. The focus for these 19,000 and 10,912 square foot projects was on creating an environment that supported public safety functionality as well as firefighter wellbeing. Our tailored approach encompassed finishes and furniture selections, private dorm rooms, a locker and shower area, study room, and dayroom with zone isolation to mitigate post-fire exposure risks. Flexibility was key, with strategically separated common areas, quiet rooms, and workout spaces. Core programmatic features such as homelike living quarters, a gym, office space, and a conference/community room were incorporated to support physical and mental health, aiming to enhance recruitment and retention and cultivate happier, healthier firefighting crews.
